Lou is the Founder and
President of ProBiz Consulting Inc. Lou's
30 years of experience as an entrepreneur and
intermediary provides him with the credentials
to share his knowledge with business owners of
diverse industries. Lou has developed expertise
in the sale of manufacturing, retail and service
businesses. Lou has listed and sold over 150
businesses in Raleigh and the surrounding area.
In addition, he has assisted over 1000 buyers in
searching for their next opportunity. He also
national clients with whom he consults via
ProBiz. In addition, Lou has equity positions in
several organizations in the Triangle region.
After serving his country in the USAF, Lou
attended the University of Maryland and has a
diploma in Business Management from La Salle
University. He has completed graduate courses in
Estate Planning, Pension and Profit Sharing and
Advanced Financial Planning via Purdue
University. Also, Lou is an accredited
Instructor at the Durham Technical College and
has written the syllabus for as well as teaching
the following courses: ""Building Your
Competitive Advantage", "Start a Business from
Your Home", "Reading a Small Business P&L", "
Profit Improvement Making the Numbers Work for
You!" and most recently, "THE USE BARTER TO
INCREASE PROFITS". In addition, Lou has served
as a guest instructor at the School for Business
Brokerage in Winston Salem, NC. Lou is a
long-standing member of IBBA (International
Business Brokers Association) and the M&A Source
(a professional association for those engaged in
Merger and Acquisition work) and a
Charter/founding member of the CVBBA (Carolinas
Virginia Business Brokers Association). Lou is
currently completing course for his CBI
(Certified Business Intermediary) designation
with the IBBA University.
Lou is CERTIFIED by the
National Equipment & Business
Broker Institute as a
Machinery & Equipment Appraiser. He performs
appraisals on request for Banks, Insurance
Companies, Attorneys, CPAs, Private Equity
Groups and Business Owners.
Robert "Bob" Brumbaugh,

Senior Broker & Consultant
Mr. Brumbaugh has been active in
the financial securities industry for more than
twenty-five years. As President and owner of a
NASD member broker/dealer, he originated several
Regulation D, Section 504 and 506 security
offerings for funding of start-up and
developmental stage companies. Bob's mission is
to advise and facilitate transactions for our
business owner clients.
During his business career, he has been
associated with the Finance departments of
Tulane University, Wesleyan College, and an
affiliate of the University of Phoenix as an
adjunct professor. Additionally, he has
sponsored and facilitated many CPA continuing
education classes on capital formation topics.
Bob has also served as a credit manager and
controller of a major corporation. And, has
consulted small business owners on fund raising
considerations, economic feasibility projects,
and business valuations.
Bob holds an MBA degree in Finance and Marketing
from Western Michigan University and a BBA
degree in Management from Eastern Michigan
University.
